Job summary

GAF is seeking Maintenance Engineering Co-Op candidates for 2027. The program offers full-time rotations in chemical, electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering with a focus on reliability and data analysis.

Base pay is clearly defined, with post-placement reports and professional growth opportunities across multiple teams. Participants will rotate through projects, develop technical reports, and gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration within a leading roofing manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering fields; GPA at least 2.8; sophomore standing.
• Spring - Summer 2027 term candidates must work full-time for 6 months (Jan–Jun 2027) or (Jun–Dec 2027) for Summer–Fall.
• Ability to generate accurate and concise technical reports; strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter work orders and manage WO flow in Maximo.
• Develop reports for Work orders, Spends, Inventory in Maximo.
• Conduct problem solving investigations to identify root cause and prevent recurrence.
• Support maintenance reliability initiatives with maintenance and production.
• Provide technical support and analytical analysis for maintenance.
