Four Winds Casinos is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to perform routine and major maintenance on casino infrastructure, including HVACR systems, electrical and plumbing. You will assist with onboarding, inspect lighting, and respond to maintenance requests, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
The role may involve pool facilities maintenance where applicable, maintaining a clean engineering workspace, and completing daily forms.
Responsible for performing routine maintenance. Completes basic and major preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshoots minor equipment maintenance problems involving electrical, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement. Assists on projects assigned to the department, administrates cosmetic repairs to the facility finishes, and assists in all areas of facilities maintenance as directed.
Assist with training and onboarding of existing and new staff. Performs basic and major maintenance and or repairs of facilities equipment as directed, including HVACR. High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) preferred. Must have working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, air conditioning maintenance, Rational Combination Ovens, Ice Machines, and Chiller Plants. Prefer 2-5 years' experience with a significant combination of vocational education, apprentice training, or on-the-job training.
HVACR Certification, EPA I & II or Universal license, Certified Pool Operator preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
Applicant must successfully complete a physical abilities test for essential functions of this job, including a color blindness test to distinguish color.
This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.
