Job summary

DKN HOTEL GROUP in San Diego, CA is seeking an Entry Level Maintenance Technician for a full-time role in the hotel division. You will perform basic electrical/plumbing repairs, carpentry, painting, and locks, while delivering the “Home Away From Home” guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (1) year of maintenance experience.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, screening and locks.
• Proper tool and chemical use.
• English speaking or bilingual.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of auto liability insurance. Good driving record. Dependable.

Responsibilities

Working Conditions/Environment:

Entire interior and exterior of property, storage area, maintenance shop, pool equipment room. Working with small tools, chemicals and paints.

Physical Requirements:

• Reaching above, at and below shoulder level.
• Lifting and carrying unassisted up to 50 lbs. or with use of dolly.
• Exposure to chemicals.
