Position Summary

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the facility, including major mechanical systems, fire & life-safety equipment, grounds, parking, lighting systems, plumbing, kitchen equipment, electrical, controls, and other systems and equipment comprising the physical structure and infrastructure. Duties include ensuring safety, cleanliness, aesthetics, guest satisfaction, and compliance with training/licensure requirements.

General Accountabilities

1. Motivated individual capable of achieving objectives with available resources.
2. Execute and influence quality guest service and profitability.
3. Maintain efficient operations according to department standards and guidelines.
4. Assist in managing utility expenses through operational efficiencies.
5. Execute maintenance programs and maintain service records as required.
6. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, kitchen, and other equipment.
7. Maintain exterior and curb appeal, including snow removal, lawn care, and painting.
8. Perform routine maintenance and operation of the physical structure, mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment.
9. Ensure work processes comply with OSHA and Hazcom standards, including MSDS procedures.
10. Communicate effectively with team and departments, providing clear updates on work performed.
11. Respond to communications regarding complaints/concerns and take appropriate action.
12. Work efficiently to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction with minimal supervision.
13. Attend meetings to stay informed and disseminate information.
14. Inspect public areas and perform repairs as needed.
15. Operate all equipment safely according to manufacturer and facility procedures.
16. Maintain a professional, courteous, and responsive manner reflecting the company's core values of Fun, Family, and Community.
17. Participate in property Safety Committee as assigned.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Working Conditions

Ability to perform mathematical functions, interpret instructions, and work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime. Physically capable of pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting up to 50 lbs., and performing duties in various work areas, including confined spaces.
