Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management’s Margaritaville Lake Resort seeks a Maintenance Engineer to uphold guest comfort across the resort and service areas. You will work on diverse projects, performing routine tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will report to the Chief Engineer in the Engineering Department and must communicate professionally, with strong English skills and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining hotel and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Replace air conditioner filters.
• Maintain furnace, air conditioner, boiler, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, systems & controls, carpentry and finishes.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service.
• Scrupulously adhere to safety standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous manner.
• Support guest satisfaction through professional service and teamwork.

With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a skilled individual to join the existing maintenance team to service a variety of areas of within the resort.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay $ 16.50 per hour

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

Reports to: Chief Engineer, Engineering Department

As a maintenance engineer, you will be working on a variety of projects to maintain and develop all areas of the resort. You may often be working in guest areas so a professional and thorough work ethic is required.

Responsibilities Include

• Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
• Replace air conditioner filters.
• Requires maintenance of furnace, air conditioner, boiler, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, mechanical, pneumatic/electronic systems & controls, carpentry & finish skills.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service.
• Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards.
• Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.
• Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
