Job summary

Healthcare Realty Trust is seeking an on-site Maintenance Engineer for medical office buildings in Dallas. The role requires a minimum of five years' facilities maintenance experience and a strong grasp of building automation, HVAC, electrical systems, and life safety. Licensure or trade certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in facilities maintenance.
• Strong understanding of Building Automation Systems and HVAC.
• Experience with electrical systems, condensing boilers, VAV, life safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and complete work orders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and building upkeep as needed, including periodic tasks (pressure washing, leaf blowing).
• Conduct emergency and preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Complete maintenance and repair records and work orders promptly.

Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner.Basic skills with Microsoft Office. Uses personal computer and smart phone for work order system and email.Position requires excellent organization, verbal, written and multi-tasking skills. Must be able to read blueprints.Takes ownership of work, is flexible, and focuses on creating a positive and welcoming impression.Must be self-sufficient, team player. Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders.On-call approximately every five weeks, travel to buildings within 1 hour metropolitan area.
