Northwest Shoals Community College is seeking a Maintenance Employee to perform entry-level grounds keeping and general maintenance across campus facilities, under close supervision. The role supports outdoor upkeep, basic facility tasks, and manual labor needs.
Responsibilities include lawn care, leaf removal, building exteriors upkeep, moving equipment, event setup, and routine cleaning. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, with about one year of related maintenance experience being desirable.
The Maintenance Employee performs entry-level grounds keeping and general maintenance support duties across campus facilities. This position supports maintenance operations by assisting with outdoor upkeep, basic facility support tasks, and manual labor needs. Work is performed under close supervision and focuses on routine tasks and support of maintenance staff.
SALARY:Compensation is in accordance with the Alabama Community College System’s Salary Schedule E5-6 ($28,836 - $46,327).
