Shasta Beverages, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to repair, maintain and install production machinery with a strong emphasis on electrical systems, PLCs, and controls.

You will work with panel building, ladder logic, motor controls, and VFD installation, wiring, and troubleshooting using meters and probes. The role requires reading electrical schematics, performing 12-hour shifts, and collaborating across teams to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some technical college preferred.
• 3–5 years in related field; food & beverage experience a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret machine/electrical drawings and schematics.
• Computer literacy with Excel and Word.
• PLC experience required.
• AC and DC circuit knowledge.
• Electrical installations for main and control power wiring; conduit.
• Developing action plans and implementing corrective measures.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Spanish language skills a plus.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintain high-speed filling, packaging, and support equipment.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Respond to calls to repair equipment as needed.
• Provide breaks to operators or run equipment as needed.
• Perform package changeovers on equipment.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
• Participate in daily meetings and report maintenance objectives.
• Install/rebuild production or plant support equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Develop preventative maintenance needs and requirements.
• Pipefitting for water, air, or hydraulic systems.
• Fabricate machine small parts, brackets, or guards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical problems promptly.
• Lead and resolve complex technical issues.
• Coordinate multiple projects with competing demands.
