Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is hiring a skilled Electrical Maintainer to operate and repair process equipment at the Corteva site in St. Joseph, Illinois.

You will perform electrical repairs, inspections, and safety program support while ensuring adherence to environmental and quality procedures. The role requires strong PLC/SAP familiarity, NEC knowledge, and a commitment to safe, reliable uptime. The position is on-site at Corteva with overtime and weekend shifts during seasonal peaks.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license/credential and field experience.
Ability to interpret NEC codes and apply safely.
Drive a company vehicle as needed.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and basic software.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments.
Capable of working independently or in a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
Maintain detailed equipment records and prints as required.
Commitment to health and safety policies and procedures.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends during peak production periods.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems.
Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and inspections.
Assist safety program leaders to ensure compliance with regulations.
Adhere to quality and safety systems including OSHA and PSM.
Recommend improvements to electrical programs or equipment.
Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
