Job summary
Vylor, Inc. is hiring at Corteva’s St. Joseph location in Illinois for an on-site electrical maintenance role. You will maintain and repair process equipment, ensure safety programs are followed, and support uptime during peak production times.
The position requires a Journeyman Electrician with NEC knowledge, a valid driver's license, SAP experience, and the ability to work in a dynamic industrial setting. Sign-on bonus of $5000 applies.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician with NEC knowledge or interpretation ability.
- Ability to read and follow electrical safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Experience with work orders/inventory systems is a plus.
- Willingness to operate a company vehicle and drive as needed.
- Able to climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varied environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control equipment for process and facility operations.
- Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections per guidelines.
- Support safety programs and compliance with OSHA, PSM, and internal controls.
- Recommend improvements to electrical systems and processes, including new devices or hardware.
- Recordkeeping for equipment and prints; support production uptime during peak periods.
