Job summary
Vylor, Inc. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to operate, repair, and maintain plant electrical systems at the Corteva site in St. Joseph, Illinois.
This on-site role requires following OSHA/PSM safety procedures and maintaining detailed equipment records to support high uptime. Qualifications include NEC interpretation, a valid driver's license, and experience with SAP for work orders. The position offers a sign-on bonus of $5,000, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrical experience required.
- Ability to interpret the NEC.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and learn company apps.
- Able to perform physical tasks and endure varied conditions.
- Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
- Willing to overtime and weekend shifts during peak production.
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control devices.
- Perform electrical repairs, service, and scheduled inspections.
- Assist with electrical safety program compliance.
- Follow safety and quality procedures including OSHA/PSM.
- Recommend safety improvements and new devices.
- Other duties as assigned.
