Job summary

Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support packaging and process machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

You will apply electrical maintenance skills to keep equipment running smoothly and participate in continuous improvement efforts across the site. The role requires 2–3 years of industrial maintenance electrical experience, knowledge of Electrical Code and NFPA 70E, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.

Qualifications

• Preference for 2-3 years of industrial maintenance electrical experience/skills.
• Knowledge of Electrical Code and Safety requirements including NFPA 70E.
• Prefer experience in food manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college/tech school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and improve packaging and process machinery and systems safely and efficiently.
• Eliminate breakdowns; troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems.
• Prepare work orders in a CMMS.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and support PdM activities.
• Read and interpret technical bulletins, manuals, and blueprints.
• Report daily work to Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and coordinate with planner.
