Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to maintain packaging and process machinery on-site in the Fort Smith to Van Buren area. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical systems, and operate a CMMS to prepare work orders.

Preference given to those with 2–3 years of industrial maintenance electrical experience and knowledge of NFPA 70E in a food manufacturing setting. High School diploma required; some college or tech schooling preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of industrial maintenance electrical experience.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E and Electrical Codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and improve packaging and process machinery safely.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems.
• Prepare work orders using CMMS and perform PM of site equipment.
• Read technical bulletins, manuals, and blueprints.
• Report progress to Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
