Job summary

Staffmark Group seeks an Industrial Electrician for a direct-hire role in Johnson City, TN. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical systems on manufacturing equipment, reading schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues and improve reliability.

The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with motors, drives, sensors, and PLC-controlled systems, and a commitment to safety and OSHA standards. On-site role with shift detail provided during interview.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical training or electrical certification preferred.
Journeyman Electrician certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical systems and manufacturing machinery.
Diagnose electrical issues using meters, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Install and maintain motors, controls, sensors, and electrical panels.
Troubleshoot AC/DC motors, control systems, and automated equipment.
Support equipment upgrades and facility improvement projects.
Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled processes in manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and electrical codes.
Document maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams for efficient plant operations.
