Job summary

Lakeside Book Company seeks a Maintenance Industrial Electrician/Electronics Technician to keep printing and binding equipment running smoothly in a modern plant. You will install, repair, modify, and test complex machines, ensuring minimal downtime and safe operations.

You will work a 2-2-3 shift with a $1.25/hour night differential and enjoy comprehensive benefits, including attendance and production bonuses, vacation from day one, and daily pay eligibility. Location is Owensville, MO.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing printing/binding equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic subsystems.
• Familiarity with PLCs, CNC and robotic controls.
• Able to read prints/schematics and implement preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and promote safety of coworkers at all times.
• Repair, install, modify, troubleshoot, and test printing and binding equipment.
• Coordinate repairs with other departments to improve machine efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot motors.
• Handle high/low voltage and 480 VAC 3-phase wiring.
• Understand and program PLC/CNC/robotic controls.
• Suggest process and equipment improvements.

$27.70-$36.60/hour depending upon experience with a $1.25/hour shift differential for night shift

2-2-3 (4-crew) Work only 50% of your days

How you will make an impact:

Lakeside Book Company is looking for a Maintenance Industrial Electrician/Electronics Technician who will work in all areas of our manufacturing processes. We will rely on your expertise to ensure our machines are operating well and maintained in a way that prevents unexpected downtime. As a Maintenance Electrician/Electronic Tech, you will repair, install, modify and test highly technical printing and binding equipment in a modern manufacturing setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work in a way that keeps you and your co-workers safe at all times.


• Repair, install, modify, troubleshoot, and test highly technical printing and binding equipment.


• Gather information and feedback from other departments around repairs and efficiency of our machines.


• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair motors.


• Work with high and variable voltage, DC power and circuit controls, and 480 VAC phase 3 power wiring.


• Understand, repair, and program PLC, CNC, and robotic equipment and controls.


• Bring ideas to the table on how we can improve our processes and equipment.

What you bring to the position:

• Proficient with troubleshooting /diagnostics and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.


• Experience and understanding of relay logic circuits


• Experience and understanding of AC and DC motors and power systems


• Familiar with VAC 480 3 phase power wiring systems


• Ability to read and understand various prints and schematics required.


• Basic knowledge of machine and process control, including experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Lenze) and frequency drives are highly beneficial.
