Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Wadsworth, OH is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd Shift team. The role focuses on keeping extrusion production lines reliable through strong electrical maintenance, PLC logic, and drive-to-motor interfaces.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform preventative maintenance, and read blueprints and manuals to support safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical maintenance background with PLC logic controls.
• Experience with drive-to-motor interfaces and related components.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Commute to Wadsworth, OH 44281 and work a 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain extrusion lines and related equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose PLC-controlled systems and variable frequency drives.

SHIFT:
2ND SHIFT MON-FRI 2PM-10PM

BUT MUST BE OPEN TO TRAINING ON DAYS FOR NO MORE THAN 2 MONTHS

PAYS: $28-$34

PTO:
1ST YEAR THEY GET 1 WEEK AFTER 6 MONTHS THEN NEXT JAN THEY WILL HAVE 2 WEEKS

Electrical Maintenance Technician

Our manufacturing facility in Wadsworth, Ohio is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd Shift team. This role is critical to maintaining and improving the reliability of our extrusion production lines.

A strong electrical maintenance background in a manufacturing environment is required for this position. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with PLC logic controls and understand the interface of drives, motors, and related components.

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping our production operations running efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment including extrusion lines, pelletizers, blenders, and auxiliary systems

• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform scheduled preventative maintenance

• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs

• Diagnose and repair PLC‑controlled systems and variable frequency drives (VFDs)

• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and complete work orders accurately

• Utilize hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment

• Assist with occasional fabrication (welding), screw pulls, and machine changeovers

• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documents

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety protocols

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong background in electrical maintenance (required)

• Experience with PLC logic controls and drive‑to‑motor interfaces

• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

• Ability to work independently and respond effectively in a fast‑paced production environment

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• Must be able to commute to Wadsworth, OH 44281

Pay & Benefits
