Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Mansfield Works in Mansfield, OH is seeking two electricians to keep the plant running and perform preventive and reactive maintenance.

The Electrician will troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment including cranes, motors, transformers, breakers and controls, with rotation shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Ability to read, understand and follow blueprints, schematics, drawings, work instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety information, and operating instructions
• Work a rotating shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshooting and repair of overhead traveling crane, AC & DC motors and generators, transformers, circuit breakers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches.
• Calibration and maintenance for pressure, flow, level, and position, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Electrician is responsible for keeping the plant operating and to perform routine maintenance and reactive maintenance. Summary of Responsibilities: Perform preventive and reactive maintenance of electrical equipment. Troubleshooting and repair of overhead traveling crane, AC & DC motors and generators, transformers, circuit breakers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches; calibration and maintenance for pressure, flow, level, and position, etc. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or other related field
• Ability to read, understand and follow blueprints, schematics, drawings, work instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety information, and operating instructions
• Work a rotating shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
