Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Hiram, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment at a modern food manufacturing plant. You will work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, reading schematics and PLC controls.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with PLC troubleshooting required and PLC programming a plus.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs and sensors.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics.
• PLC troubleshooting is required; PLC programming is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and workplace safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and read ladder logic.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
