Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment at a food manufacturing plant in Ohio. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, and work with the maintenance team on more complex repairs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience, with PLC troubleshooting skills. The role requires on-site work in Hiram, OH with 12-hour shifts and a 2-2-3 rotation.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.

Please apply only if you live within about a 45-minute drive of Hiram.Pay: $34.10–$36.70/hr depending on experience, plus a $2.10/hr night premium on 12-hour nights.Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shifts.
