JBS Foods in Omaha, NE is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician to maintain and repair plant electrical systems and weighing equipment. The role includes calibration of scales, preventive maintenance, and basic PLC troubleshooting.

You will read schematics, work with 3-phase power, and support conduit runs plus camera/network basics while adhering to safety standards and documenting daily tests.

Qualifications

• Electrical safety training and arc flash awareness.
• Ability to troubleshoot with a multimeter and/or megger.
• Understanding of 3-phase power circuits (480, 240, 208 VAC).
• Familiarity with 277 VAC lighting and control circuits.
• Reading prints, line diagrams, and schematics.
• Good communication skills and basic computer use.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day electrical/electronic repairs on plant equipment.
• Conduct daily calibration checks of weighing scales and related equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance on scales and weighing systems.
• Provide basic PLC troubleshooting and support for related systems.
• Assist with installation/replacement of equipment, conduit, and wiring.
• Understand network cabling and basic video camera concepts.
