Amcor LLC's Edgewood facility seeks a Maintenance Electrical Technician to perform planned and emergency repairs across the plant, applying both mechanical and electrical knowledge to hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems. This role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork.

Shifts include 11p-7a on weekdays or Sunday-Friday 3-11p, with overtime opportunities. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits as described in the posting.

Formación

• 5–7 years in industrial manufacturing with electrical/mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with PLC hardware and control systems.
• Willing to work 3rd shift and overtime as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Follow EHS guidelines related to routine and non-routine work, including LOTO.
• Perform repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Handle hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and drive/control components.
• Restock parts and prepare maintenance paperwork.

LOTO, safe work permits).Maintain an organized, clean, & high performance work station.Accurately complete required paperwork such as logging time, parts and problems and predictive maintenance worksheets.Perform repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance of equipment and facilities demonstrating both mechanical and electrical knowledge as it relates to hydraulic, pneumatic schematics, control systems, general electric equipment, power distribution, power supply, drives, ac/dc motors, computer & PLC hardware.Perform non-critical plumbing, cutting, brazing & weldingRestock machine/equipment/facility parts, accessories and hardwareCollect universal waste (fluorescent light bulbs, batteries)Prepare used oil for disposal and transportation to Hazardous Waste areaTroubleshoot and correct problems affecting safety, waste, quality and throughputWork at heights to perform building maintenance as requiredLead/Participate in WCOM Continuous Improvement Teams as requiredWhat We Want From You: Lead the PackPreferred qualifications:Must actively support and participate in maintenance activities as it relates to scheduled manufacturing and organized maintenance days.High School Diploma or Equivalent with Military/Trade/Technical/Vocational training5 to 7 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing facility encompassing the following: Electrical Fundamentals, Motors & Controls, Measurement Devices, PLC Hardware, Mechanical Fundamentals, Power Transmission, Pneumatic Components and Hydraulic Components.What We Value:Our Core Values guide us: Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Results, and Outperformance.Physical Requirements:Lift up to 50 lbs.Stand for long periods (steel-toed shoes required)Perform climbing, crouching, and reachingWorking at heights (climbing ladders)Reasonable accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basisWhy Amcor?Be part of a global leader while working in a team-driven environment at our Edgewood facility.
