Genie Matthews and Associates in Chicago Heights, IL, seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime in a chemical manufacturing setting. You will support electrical and control systems and partner with production and maintenance teams to drive plant performance.

You will lead improvement projects from scoping through installation, plan work, manage costs, and mentor maintenance staff while promoting safe practices across departments.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
• At least 3 years of industrial experience with electrical and control systems.
• Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to plan and complete work on schedule, estimate project costs, and manage budgets.
• Sound engineering and safety practices with the ability to support and develop maintenance teams.
