Qualifications

• 4+ years in Maintenance/EHS and Facilities in a distribution center environment.

• 3+ years of supervisory experience overseeing hourly employees in a fast-paced DC setting.

• Ability to independently lead and manage EHS programs.

• Experience preparing for internal EHS audits.
• 1
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and ensure adherence to EHS policies and procedures.
• Submit all required company and regulatory reports on time.
• Develop site personnel to support EHS programs.
• Assist in managing workers' compensation processes.
• Collaborate with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulators.
• Lead investigations of incidents and corrective actions.
• Conduct routine safety observations to ensure compliance.
• Represent management during EHS meetings and with facility personnel.
• Lead EHS and New Hire training for hourly and supervisory staff.
• Advisory role on the Safety Committee and OSHA compliance.
• Perform other EHS duties as required by management.
• Schedule and lead preventive maintenance for all equipment.
• Provide maintenance support for utilities, HVAC, and systems.
• Plan and lead maintenance projects and hygiene initiatives.
• Ensure 5S and hygiene compliance across the facility.
• Upgrade equipment to safer, more productive alternatives.
