Job summary

New Castle Nursing & Rehab and Twin Oaks Assisted Living in New Castle, KY, seek a hands-on Maintenance Director to lead a small team and keep our communities safe, survey-ready, and well-maintained.

You'll manage repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and grounds, supervise the Maintenance Assistant, coordinate with vendors, stay on budget, and be on-call for emergencies, while treating residents and staff with respect.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience with building systems.
• Experience with Life Safety Code, CMS/state surveys, and OSHA.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and direct repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and grounds at both communities.
• Keep facilities survey-ready for CMS, state, and fire marshal inspections; maintain logs and testing.
• Run the electronic work-order system and organize records for surveyors.
• Supervise and train the Maintenance Assistant; set department priorities.
• Manage vendors, bids, capital projects, and maintenance budget.
• Respond to building emergencies and serve as on-call lead.
