Job summary

Wallick Communities’ The Ashford of Berkshire in Sunbury, OH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance and keep the community’s physical environment well maintained. You will complete work orders, supervise maintenance staff, help rehab units, interact with residents, and ensure cleanliness and safety across the property.

Applicants should have 1+ year in a supervisory role, 2+ years maintenance experience in senior living, strong customer service, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a supervisory role is required.
• 2+ years maintenance experience, ideally in a Senior Living setting.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete building work orders and service requests per Wallick policy and procedures.
• Paint and assist with grounds upkeep including landscaping.
• Supervise maintenance assistant and interpret department policies and procedures.
• Interface with residents and families regarding maintenance issues as needed.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Coordinate maintenance portion of rehabbing units.
• Maintain maintenance equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: Starting at $55,000 annually

The work - How you will contribute

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage and complete the day-to-day maintenance functions as well as maintain the physical environment of the community.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Complete building work orders and service request per Wallick policy and procedures.
• Paint and assist with the upkeep of the grounds including landscaping.
• Assign and supervise the day-to-day functions of maintenance assistant and interpret department policies and procedures.
• Interface with resident and resident families regarding maintenance problems and any other information as requested.
• Conduct daily inspections of assigned work areas to assure cleanliness and sanitary conditions are maintained.
• Coordinate the maintenance portion of rehabbing the units.
• Maintain maintenance equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About You

• You have 1 or more years in a supervisory role
• 2 or more years of maintenance experience, ideally in a Senior Living setting
• You can provide great customer service.
• You should be proficient using Microsoft Office.
