Overview

At FutureCare, our Maintenance Director/Plant Engineer is responsible for developing and executing the maintenance prevention program within the facility. This role involves determining the need for emergency renovations, carpentry services, plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance services as needed.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 (Competitive Salary)

The salary reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or incentives may be offered separately, considering experience, qualifications, location, certifications, and training.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and approve repairs and improvements to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance.
  2. Maintain safety records and logs, and produce required reports.
  3. Supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
  4. Schedule testing for elevator systems to ensure compliance with DLLR regulations.
  5. Coordinate maintenance with external parking facilities.
  6. Perform preventative maintenance on boilers, chillers, generators, fire/safety equipment, and medical equipment.
  7. Inspect work for quality, safety, and compliance.
  8. Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  9. Verify refrigerator and water temperature logs daily.
  10. Manage budgets for supplies and services, following proper approval procedures.
  11. Follow facility policies and procedures.
  12. Act as chairperson for the Safety Committee.
  13. Comply with corporate ethics and compliance policies.
  14. Ensure adherence to state and federal regulatory codes.

Qualifications

  1. College degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  2. Active Stationary Engineer license required.
  3. Minimum of 5 years experience in plant engineering and maintenance supervision.
  4. Expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation systems, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC.
  5. Strong supervisory, organizational, and administrative skills.
  6. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  8. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
