Job summary

Arbor-Care-Centers is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the maintenance department in a long-term care setting. You will manage prioritized work, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety systems, plus strong communication with residents and teams. In person work in Ord, NE; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work safely and professionally.
• Strong reading, writing, and spoken English; capable of presenting to groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations and prioritize service requests.
• Implement the preventative maintenance program across the facility.
• Maintain essential systems including power, refrigeration, water supply and life safety equipment.
• Supervise housekeeping and laundry, schedule staff, and conduct performance reviews.
• Develop and update maintenance policies in line with regulations.
• Coordinate facility drills and ensure resident safety during emergencies.
