Job summary

Majestic Care of Hopemont seeks a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team, ensuring reliable operations across the community and grounds. The role includes supervising the maintenance department, managing preventive maintenance programs, and coordinating with design engineers on equipment needs.

Travel between Majestic Care of Hopemont and Manchin is required, with paid travel time and mileage. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in building

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in building maintenance; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to use computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Responsibilities

• Schedule repair and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
• Daily follow up of the TELS system for building management and tracking of Life Safety and maintenance services/repairs.
• Direct and participate in maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and ensure all preventive maintenance requirements are met in a timely manner; and within compliance of state/federal and manufacturer guidelines.
• Prepare department budget and monitor expenditure of funds in budget.
• Recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
• Review new product plans and discuss equipment needs and modifications with design engineers.
• Direct the effort to have attractive and well-maintained grounds.
• Must demonstrate empathy, courteous, kind and professional workplace behavior and customer services to all residents, Care Team Members, vendors, visitors and family members at all times.
