Job summary

Majestic Care of Hopemont in West Virginia is seeking a Maintenance Director to supervise the maintenance department and ensure the efficient operation of the physical plant and grounds. The role requires residing near Fairmont or Morgantown, WV, and involves shared time with Majestic Care of Manchin.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, manage the department budget, and coordinate Life Safety systems, while delivering empathetic, professional care team and resident service interactions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.
• Graduation from an appropriate technical/trade school preferred, but not required.
• Ability to use computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Three years of experience in building maintenance; one year of supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Schedule repair and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
• Daily follow up of the TELS system for building management and tracking of Life Safety and maintenance services/repairs.
• Direct and participate in maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and ensure all preventive maintenance requirements are met in a timely manner; and within compliance of state/federal and manufacturer guidelines.
• Prepare department budget and monitor expenditure of funds in budget.
• Recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
• Review new product plans and discuss equipment needs and modifications with design engineers.
• Direct the effort to have attractive and well-maintained grounds.
• Must demonstrate empathy, courteous, kind and professional workplace behavior and customer services to all residents, Care Team Members, vendors, visitors and family members at all times
• Ability to do all above requirements in shared time between Majestic Care of Hopemont & Majestic Care of Manchin (Travel time 1 hour & mileage is paid)
