Job summary

Majestic Care of Fort Wayne is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance department and ensure the reliable operation of the physical plant and environmental systems, as well as the appearance of the community grounds.

You will schedule repairs, monitor the TELS system for life safety and maintenance services, manage budgets, and develop preventive maintenance programs while supervising staff and delivering courteous, professional service to residents, team members, vendors and

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in building maintenance.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to use computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications

Responsibilities

• Schedule repair and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
• Daily follow up of the TELS system for building management and tracking of Life Safety and maintenance services/repairs.
• Direct and participate in maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and ensure all preventive maintenance requirements are met in a timely manner; and within compliance of state/federal and manufacturer guidelines.
• Prepare department budget and monitor expenditure of funds in budget.
• Recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
• Review new product plans and discuss equipment needs and modifications with design engineers.
• Direct the effort to have attractive and well-maintained grounds.
