Job summary

The Landon at Lake Highlands in Dallas, TX is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the upkeep of our community with a focus on safety, reliability, and resident comfort. This role drives preventative maintenance and supervises staff to ensure high-quality service.

You will coordinate with vendors, manage repairs, and uphold life-safety standards while fostering a collaborative, family-like atmosphere for residents and team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
• Respond to service requests from residents and management.
• Monitor outside contractors and warranties.
• Maintain records including equipment serial numbers.
• Lead and train maintenance staff and ensure safety procedures.
