Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Director of Maintenance to oversee the overall operation of the Maintenance Department, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents. You will plan, organize, and direct maintenance activities across the facility, coordinating with other departments and leading a team of maintenance staff.

The role requires supervisory experience and strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory maintenance experience and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and building systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply building codes and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the Maintenance Department's operations.
• Coordinate maintenance with other departments.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and administrative tasks.
• Supervise staff and enforce safety regulations.
• Forecast department needs and manage budgets.
• Ensure safety policies and proper handling of equipment.
• Order equipment and supervise repair/decontamination processes.
