Cheetah Clean Auto Wash, a fast-growing car wash company with 16 locations across Kentucky and Tennessee, seeks a Director of Maintenance to lead our multi-site maintenance team and keep tunnels moving. The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic planning and budget management.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in maintenance, 3+ years in leadership, and strong skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including PLCs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in maintenance roles.
• 3+ years leading a team across multiple sites.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills; PLC experience is a big plus.
• Experience with tunnel, water reclaim, and chemical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel Kentucky and Tennessee.

Responsabilités

• Lead the maintenance crew across all 16 sites and set standards for fast, quality work.
• Troubleshoot and repair tunnels, conveyors, dryers, pumps, water reclaim, chemical systems, and PLCs.
• Build a preventive maintenance program that catches problems before customers notice.
• Manage the maintenance budget, vendors, and parts inventory; justify smart equipment investments.
• Plan and commission new sites, remodels, and equipment installs as we expand.
• Champion lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA compliance across locations.

We're a fast-growing car wash company with 16 locations across Kentucky and Tennessee, looking for a Director of Maintenance to lead the team that keeps every tunnel moving. If you'd rather fix a problem for good than fix it twice, this is your seat.

What You'll Do (and LOVE Doing)

• Lead the Crew: Build, coach, and lead our maintenance team across all 16 sites, setting the standard for fast, quality work.
• Own Uptime: Troubleshoot and repair tunnels, conveyors, dryers, pumps, water reclaim, chemical systems, and PLCs.
• Get Ahead of It: Build a preventive maintenance program that catches problems before our customers ever notice.
• Run It Like a Business: Manage the maintenance budget, vendors, and parts inventory, and make the case for smart equipment investments.
• Grow With Us: Help plan and commission new sites, remodels, and equipment installs as we expand.
• Keep It Safe: Champion lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA compliance across every location.

Requirements

What Makes You the Perfect Fit

• Experienced: 7+ years in maintenance, including 3+ years leading a team in a multi-site, industrial, or facilities setting.
• Hands-On Technical Pro: Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills; PLC experience is a big plus.
• Car Wash Savvy: Tunnel, water reclaim, and chemical system experience puts you at the front of the line.
• Organized Under Pressure: You can juggle priorities across multiple sites and stay calm when a tunnel goes down on a busy Saturday.
• Road Ready: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and happy to travel across Kentucky and Tennessee.
