Genesiscareers is seeking a Maintenance Director to ensure safe, well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing surroundings for patients and residents in a Kentucky facility.

The role reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and involves overseeing electrical/plumbing/HVACR systems, staff orientation, fire safety, record-keeping, and continuous on-call availability, with responsibilities on the TELS platform.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Provides overall supervision of the maintenance department; including orientation for new staff.
• Maintains fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize the potential for fire and accidents.
• Maintains required records and reports; performs budget planning.
• Remains on-call for emergencies seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
• Operates on the TELS platform for all Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks.
