Job summary

Genesiscareers seeks a Maintenance Director for our nursing centers. The role prioritizes safety and comfort for patients and residents by keeping facilities well maintained and compliant with applicable laws.

You will report directly to the Nursing Home Administrator. Key duties include repairing electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems; supervising the maintenance staff; maintaining fire alarm and generator systems; handling records and budget planning; and remaining on-call seven

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVACR systems is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Provides overall supervision of the maintenance department; including orientation for new staff.
• Maintains fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize safety risks.
• Maintains required records and reports; assists with budget planning.
• Remains on-call for emergencies seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
• Operates on the TELS platform for Life Safety and daily tasks.
