Aviata Health Group is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead the maintenance department and shape the facility’s safety and reliability. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and directing maintenance operations to meet federal, state, and local standards while fostering a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

You will hire and train technicians, oversee safety inspections, and implement projects that improve systems and processes, contributing to exceptional care and facility

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Secondary degree from accredited vocational/technical school preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory maintenance/plant experience.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan with defined tasks and timelines.
• Establish an equipment and utilities management program.
• Hire, train, and supervise maintenance technicians to cover tasks effectively.
• Participate in regular safety inspection tours and document findings.
• Provide facility-wide safety training.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on building grounds.
• Ensure supplies and equipment support a safe, comfortable environment.
• Drive innovation to improve systems and processes and achieve superior results.
