Job summary

Skilled Rehab Care in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced Maintenance Director to lead and optimize the facility's maintenance operations. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and a preventative maintenance program to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires coordinating with regulatory surveys and supervising outside service providers to meet contract requirements and high standards of upkeep within the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance team in a healthcare or assisted-living facility.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state/local regulations governing maintenance operations.
• Ability to manage contracts and service providers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manages the operations of the Maintenance Department by adhering to proper staffing and scheduling of personnel.
• Inspect storage rooms, work rooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc for upkeep and supply control.
• Participates in facility surveys made by authorized governmental agencies.
• Ensures that outside services are properly completed/supervised in accordance with contracts/work orders.
• Assists in establishing a preventative maintenance program.
