Job summary

Chatsworth Commons Senior Living in Chatsworth, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Director to supervise maintenance and housekeeping teams and manage daily operations, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance. You will coordinate with vendors, address facility issues, and mentor staff to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role requires 3+ years in a supervisory maintenance or housekeeping position within a healthcare or senior living setting, with strong building maintenance

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of supervisory maintenance/housekeeping experience in a healthcare or senior living setting.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repair techniques, and housekeeping practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to facility maintenance and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Oversee daily operations including repairs, preventive maintenance, and cleaning schedules.
• Conduct inspections to assess facility conditions and address issues promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
• Train and mentor staff on maintenance and housekeeping procedures.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for tasks.
