Job summary

Chatsworth Commons Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead maintenance and housekeeping operations at our Chatsworth, CA campus. The role oversees repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and vendor coordination to keep the facility safe and compliant.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory maintenance experience in healthcare or senior living, with strong building maintenance knowledge and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Supervisory experience in maintenance/housekeeping, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and housekeeping practices; familiarity with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Oversee daily operations including repairs, preventive maintenance, and cleaning schedules.
• Conduct inspections to assess facility conditions and address issues promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
• Train and mentor staff on proper maintenance and housekeeping procedures.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
