Job summary

Complete Care at Bey Lea is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team and oversee building systems to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff in Toms River, NJ.

The full-time, day-shift position includes on-call responsibilities every other weekend, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career advancement within a resident‑centered organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Working knowledge of building systems and code requirements.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.
• Familiarity with OSHA and life safety regulations.
• Supervisory/management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assign maintenance staff responsibilities and schedules.
• Schedule and ensure completion of all maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct regular facility inspections for safety, upkeep, appearance, and equipment performance.
• Ensure work complies with State/Federal and OSHA standards.

Maintenance Director Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Working knowledge of building systems and related code requirements
• Demonstrates a high proficiency and understanding of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance
• Experience with OSHA and life safety regulations
• Supervisory and management experience
• Ability to multi-task
• Organized with strong time management skills
• Must have ability to be “on call”
