Job summary

Magna Seating in Spring Hill, TN is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead the SHSS maintenance organization. You will direct safe operation of production machinery and facility systems, develop preventive maintenance programs, and manage equipment planning to maximize uptime and efficiency.

The role requires 7-10 years in automotive Tier 1 manufacturing, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and proficiency with lean methods and engineering software.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade certification.
• 7–10 years of progressive management experience in an automotive (JIT) Tier 1 manufacturing environment.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement processes/lean manufacturing concepts.
• Good understanding of capitol and expense budgets; strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions and practices at SHSS.
• Direct maintenance and operations of facility systems (electrical, refrigeration, water, steam and compressed gas).
• Develop preventive maintenance program for production machinery and equipment.
• Plan and oversee equipment needs, acquisitions and capacity improvements to maximize uptime.
• Provide clear performance feedback and develop employees through coaching and training.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
