Job summary

The Wellington at Arapaho is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance for a premier senior living community in Richardson, TX. The role ensures safe, functional environments and coordinates repairs for both resident-facing areas and staff spaces.

Responsibilities include grounds and building upkeep, safety compliance, and coordinating repairs with staff while maintaining equipment and move-in readiness. Excellent organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with minor repair techniques for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and HVAC systems required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of community equipment; ensures equipment is functioning and staff trained.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
