Job summary

The Wellington at Arapaho, a Sonida Senior Living community in Richardson, TX, seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee grounds, building systems, and resident safety. Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, ensuring safety compliance, and preparing apartments for move-in.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds, inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Oversees repair of community equipment and trains staff on its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.

Maintenance Director Responsibilities include:

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.
