Job summary

Confidential Skilled Nursing Facility in Delaware County, PA is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the Maintenance Department, develop policies, and oversee operations. You will supervise staff, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

The role requires at least three years of supervisory experience in maintenance or plant settings and knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in maintenance or plant-related positions.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department and its programs.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department, its programs, and activities
• Develop and maintain written maintenance policies and procedures
• Assist the maintenance staff in the development and use of departmental policies, procedures, equipment, supplies, etc.
• Make written and oral reports and recommendations to the Administrator, as necessary or required, concerning the operation of the Maintenance Department
• Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance or plant-related position
• Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations
