You will manage staffing, plan repairs, supervise safety programs, and coordinate with residents and staff to ensure high-quality facilities and reliable operations across the campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with computer knowledge.
• At least three years of maintenance-related experience and basic knowledge in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and lawn care.
• Must be available on call for urgent facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee repairs or replacements of defective machines to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain a safe, neat environment for residents and staff by keeping grounds and facilities well-maintained.
• Conduct regular safety drills and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Organize and store department supplies to optimize efficiency.
• Inventory and secure resident possessions for comfort and security.
• Complete forms, reports, and studies to support decision-making.
• Ensure maintenance work meets high-quality standards and protect the facility's reputation.

Maintenance Director

Apple Springs Senior Living, located in Omak, Washington is currently seeking a Maintenance Director

to join our team.

Director of Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities:

• Guarantee that all defective machines, equipment, and appliances are repaired or replaced to ensure seamless operations
• Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly environment for our residents and staff by ensuring grounds and facilities are well-maintained
• Conduct regular fire drills to ensure preparedness and compliance with safety protocols
• Organize, maintain, and store all department-specific supplies and equipment to optimize efficiency
• Inventory, identify, and help store resident personal possessions on an ongoing basis to ensure their comfort and security
• Complete forms, reports, evaluations, and studies related to the Maintenance Department to facilitate informed decision-making
• Ensure that all maintenance work meets high-quality standards to maintain a positive reputation
• Oversee a planned program of preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
• Take responsibility for staffing, training, supervision, discipline, and scheduling for the department to ensure effective operations

Director of Maintenance Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or completed a GED program, with computer knowledge and skills
• At least three years of maintenance-related experience and basic knowledge in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and lawn care
• Must be available on call for urgent facility needs to ensure prompt response and resolution
