Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee all facility maintenance operations across our Minnesota network of 60+ skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water/sewage, and fire safety systems, perform preventive maintenance, and supervise staff.
The role requires leadership, English fluency, and a background in healthcare maintenance, with boiler licensing and a Minnesota Engineer-Class C license preferred.

The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing all facility maintenance operations, ensuring equipment, building systems, and outdoor areas are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations. This role manages plumbing, electrical, HVAC, water, sewage, and fire safety systems; performs and documents preventive maintenance; coordinates contract services; and completes routine repairs. The Maintenance Director supervises maintenance staff, assigns tasks, participates in hiring and evaluations, and provides training during onboarding. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, ordering supplies and equipment within budget guidelines, and maintaining clear purchasing documentation. The position also supports compliance and quality improvement efforts by staying current with state and federal regulations, attending trainings and audits, and contributing to policy development. A professional and collaborative approach is essential, as the Maintenance Director supports other departments, upholds resident rights and confidentiality, and is available for evening or weekend needs when required.
