Job summary

Summit Point, a Sonida Senior Living community in Macedonia, OH, seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee grounds, building interiors, and equipment maintenance. You will insure safety records and inspections are up to date, supervise staff, and prepare apartments for move-in and turnover.

The role focuses on reliable maintenance, compliance with state requirements, and efficient operation of the community facilities to support resident care and comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds and outside building areas, including lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Oversees repair of community equipment and ensures staff are trained in its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, and state-required inspections.
