Liberty Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lynchburg, VA is hiring a Maintenance/Environmental Services professional to keep the Life Safety Code, the physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities in good working order and compliant with all regulations.

You will follow health, sanitary and infection control policies, perform preventive maintenance, respond to work orders, and contribute to a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum two years' experience in environmental services, maintenance, or related trade, preferably healthcare or hospitality.
• HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing certifications are a plus.
• Shifts: 1st Shift, 7:30a - 4:30p; Wage: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, Based on Experience.

Responsibilities

• The primary purpose is to ensure Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations.
• Follows health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains standards of practice.
• Maintain and repair facilities to support a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Education

Position Summary:

• Must have at least two (2) years' experience in environmental services, maintenance, or relative trade, preferably in the healthcare or hospitality industry.
• HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing certifications are a plus.

Shift and Wage:
