Job summary

Quality-Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Director for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Franklin, Tennessee. The role oversees maintenance staff, ensures Life Safety Code compliance, and manages annual policy reviews and budgets.

Strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential to maintain safe, compliant operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years in a supervisory maintenance role, with long-term care experience preferred.

• Experience as Maintenance Director in long-term care is preferred.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure the community remains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for Life Safety Code compliance.
• Review the department’s policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc. at least annually for revisions and make recommendations to the Administrator.
• Prepare operating and staffing budgets for maintenance and monitors monthly.
• Direct other staff within the Maintenance Department and oversee their work ethic.
• Perform any related tasks as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a maintenance or plant related position
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Director in long-term care is preferred
