Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and experienced Maintenance Director with expertise in Life Safety Inspections, HVAC, and routine maintenance. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate the maintenance department to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, and maintain a sanitary, attractive, and safe environment. Principal Responsibilities

• Supervise environmental services personnel, manage budgets, and resolve personnel issues.
• Implement and record preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal physical function of the center.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities, including parts and supplies used.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with staff on environmental requests and infection control, providing timely follow-up.
• Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment, report serious failures, and perform repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience in a commercial setting, with knowledge of laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Preferred: 2+ years in long-term care.
